I would be interested to know what resonated with you in these stories. Did you hear something new? Does it give you any insight into how to evangelize the people in your life? What else would you like to learn about?

An inspiring conversation! Thanks. Just wondering about another type of ministry. I am a frequent bus rider. ( My husband and I don’t have a car so we are great supporters of all types of public transportation.) I enjoy talking w/ folks on the bus and often help them by waiting for ambulance w/ woman who fell as she was getting off the bus and had a bloody head wound and also helping a young woman who knew no English find her way from

Rideau St. to a grocery store (Adonais) and also giving money to various people in presumed unfortunate circumstances. I think the point I’m attempting to make is that ministry can be done humbly w/o the rubric of “ministry.” ( I feel strongly about this issue and although I did

“blow my own horn” I know of some Catholic women who do similar and different ministries.

Ann, thanks for what you've shared. I don't think ministry is meant to be confined to any particular 'rubric'. It's simply the overflow of our love for God. That love is meant, precisely, to manifest itself in all of daily encounters. Even humble efforts can have an impact beyond anything we can imagine. Please keep doing what you're doing.
